The qualifying round closes on day two of the EuroCup in Valencia with three races completed.

Gold and Silver fleet defined in the 29er Eurocup Series and whit Kis-Szölgyémi & András Take the lead

The second day of the Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week, with the 29er Eurocup Series at stake, closes with the three-race programme, which concludes the qualifying round and gives way to the final series, in addition the discard comes into play so thatthe provisional overall gives an important turnaround.

Hungary's Soma Kis-Szölgyémi and Sámuel András (lsóorsi Marina Vitorlás Klub) gointo the final series in the lead, although their advantage is only 4 points over second: Nolann Huet des Aunay and Titouan Gresset (CNBPP/SNO), although the French have 15 points, the same as Poland's Szymon Kolka (YKP Gdynia) and Bartosz Zmudzinski(CHKZ) in second place. The French seal this second round with a 2-1-4 record, whilethe Polish tandem is 3-3-6.

Behind, the distances between the fleet are short. This margin adds to the excitement of the final series. After the 15 points of the French and Poles, with 16 points are another representative of France: Jouan Bernabé (CNBPP) and Theilo Giannantoni (SON), butonly 2 points behind them are Frenchmen Jocelyn Le Goff, (EV Loquirec) and Jules Vidor (La Mouette Sinagote), and 3 points behind (19 points) are the Hungarians Peter and Richard Lange (Alsóorsi MVK).

Tomorrow, Saturday 15th, the first round of the final series. A day in which the weatherforecast is somewhat complicated, but with good wind conditions in terms of intensity.
