Koper, March 26, 2025 – This weekend, Jadro Klub Koper will host one of the most anticipated sailing events of the season, the 29er EuroCup Slovenia. From March 27 to March 30, 2025, the waters off Koper will be filled with action as top young sailors from across Europe compete in this prestigious regatta.
As part of the renowned European 29er EuroCup series, the event has attracted 64 teams from 12 countries, showcasing the best talent in the fast and dynamic 29er class. The competition will feature 31 male, 20 female, and 13 mixed teams, with a strong presence from Poland, Germany, and Austria.
Slovenia will be proudly represented in the U17 category by two crews:
Lana AL-Dilaimi and Sara Ritoša in the female division
Pier Maria Paparella and Ajda Guli? Bandelj in the mixed division
The regatta, organized by Jadro Klub Koper, will span four days, with both competitors and organizers eagerly anticipating favorable wind conditions. With the EuroCup series known for its high level of competition and fast-paced racing, spectators can expect thrilling battles on the water.
