After a postponement on land due to lack of wind, the start could be given at around 14.00 hours, closing the day with the three races planned.

The first day of the 29er Eurocup Series, within the framework of the Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week and with the RCN of Valencia as the venue, has come to an end. The programme of three races was completed, despite the bad wind conditions in the early hours of the morning.
The first race started after 14.00 hours with the victory of the Polish tandem formed by Kolka Szymon (Ykp Gdynia) and Zmudzinski Bartosz (Chk? Chojnice) in the yellowgroup, while in the blue group the British Lila Dwards (Parkstone YC) and Amelie Hiscocks (WPNSA) won. Equality was marking the competition in both groups.
The next two races were won by Frenchmen Jocelyn Le Goff, (EV Loquirec) Jules Vidor (La Mouette Sinagote) and Antonina Puchowska (YCP Gdynia) and AlicjaDampc (CY ?eglarski), while in the third and last race of the day Frenchmen Le Goff and Vidor were to repeat while in the blue group it was now the Swiss Ikke Huber and Liam Berger (Thunersee Y TYC) who scored the 1 in their box.
With the results of the three races, the Hungarians Soma Kis-Szölgyémi and András Sámuel (lsóorsi Marina Vitorlás Klub) took the lead, thanks to their 2-3-3 results, scoring 8 points. They are followed by the French duo Le Golf and Vidor with 11 points, the same as the Polish duo Antonina Puchowska and Alicja Dampc.
The second day, the last of the qualifying round, will be played tomorrow. The race committee plans to complete the races to close the series and make way for the final series.
