Four races for the first round of the final series in the Eurocup 29er Series and a change of leaders

France's Nolann Huet des Aunay and Titouan Gresset (CNBPP/SNO) are in first place with 28 points with only one round to go.

The first day of the final series of the Eurocup 29 Series at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia closes with four races completed. Change of leader in the provisional rankings, with one day remaining and at least three races in the pipeline.

Frenchmen Nolann Huet des Aunay and Titouan Gresset (CNBPP/SNO) take commandof the 29er fleet, competing in the Olympic Week 2025, an international regattaorganised by the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community. They do it with 28 points in their locker and number in this third day of 1-2-3-10.

Second place goes to Soma Kis-Szölgyémi and András Juhasz (Isóorsi Marina VitorlásKlub) who have 31 points (17-1-6-2). The provisional third place is also Hungarian as Peter and Richard Lange (Alsóorsi MVK, moving up three places in the table.

Fourth and fifth places respectively go to two crews from France, both with 50 points: Jouan Bernabé (CNBPP) and Theilo Giannantoni (SON), in fourth place, and Jocelyn Le Goff and Jules Vidor.

Tomorrow, Sunday 16th February 2025, the Eurocup 29er Series will close in Valencia, as part of the Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week. The forecast is for a light wind.
