European Championships 2025 - Day 3 Recap: Qualifying complete, finals begins tomorrow in Riva del Garda

Riva del Garda, 5 July 2025

The qualification phase of the 29er European Championship 2025 has officially concluded after five valid races. Organized by Fraglia Vela Riva in collaboration with the International 29er Class Association, the event is hosting a record-breaking fleet of 251 teams from 29 countries.

Weather Challenges and Smart Race Management

After a strong opening day with three races completed across all fleets, unstable weather on Day 2 led to delays for several groups. Today, however, the only viable weather window was skillfully used by the Race Committee led by Claudio Tosi and Class Representative Peter Lubeck, allowing the qualification series to close successfully with five races.
