Malcesine
The fifth event of the 29er EuroCup 2026 will take place in Malcesine, Italy, hosted by Fraglia Vela Malcesine
What to expect
Venue & Setup
For 2026, the event will take place at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, with all operations centered around the main Club House and harbour area. The venue offers dedicated zones for boat storage, launching, and team operations, ensuring an efficient and well-organized setup throughout the event.
Boat & RIB Launching
Launching for 29ers will take place via the designated ramps shown on the venue map.
Support boats and RIBs can be launched using ramps or crane facilities, with prior coordination required with the harbormaster. Use of the crane must be arranged in advance and paid at the office.
Arrival & Parking
Arrival with trailers must be done through the North Gate, with prior contact with the harbormaster required. Specific procedures are in place for night arrivals.
Parking tickets will be provided at registration (typically one per team/coach).
All vehicles, trailers, and RIBs must be parked in assigned areas as indicated on the event map. Sleeping in parking areas and access with caravans or motorhomes is not permitted.
Racing Format
The fleet will be split into groups depending on the number of entries, ensuring efficient race management and smooth operations on the water.
Event Logistics
Registration and race office operations will be handled at the main Club House.
Each team will be assigned a specific boat park area, and all boats must be stored in designated zones.
An online Official Notice Board (ONB) will be used for all communications, alongside a WhatsApp group for real-time updates.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a key focus of the event. Sailors are required to use reusable water bottles, with refill stations available on-site.
Waste disposal areas will be provided throughout the venue to encourage responsible practices.
Event Highlights
The event will include daily after-race gatherings with snacks, creating a social and engaging atmosphere for sailors and teams.
