Carnon
The fourth event of the 29er EuroCup 2026 will take place in Carnon, France, hosted by Pôle Espoirs Voile Occitanie.
What to expect
The fourth stage of the 29er EuroCup 2026 will take place in Carnon, France, from April 2nd to 5th, bringing together top international teams for four days of high-level racing and onshore activities.
Venue & Setup
For 2026, the event area will be expanded across both sides of the harbour, improving logistics, increasing available space, and enhancing launching operations. The main event hub will remain at the Club House on the right bank, while additional facilities and boat storage will also be available on the left bank.
Boat & RIB Launching
Three launching ramps will be available (Club House, Carré Sports, and Rowing Club), ensuring efficient water access throughout the event. Specific time restrictions may apply, so teams are advised to check updates in advance.
Arrival & Parking
Participants can use the designated parking area at Bassaget, with separate zones for trailers and support boats. Teams are encouraged to coordinate arrival times with the organizing authority to ensure smooth access.
Racing Format
The fleet will be divided into 2 to 4 groups depending on the number of entries, allowing for efficient race management with up to 180 boats competing.
Event Logistics
Registration will take place at the Club House upon arrival. Each team will be assigned a dedicated boat park area, and all sailors must follow the sign-in/sign-out procedure before and after sailing.
Sustainability
Sustainability remains a key focus of the event. Sailors are required to use reusable water bottles and participate in the Clean Walk initiative, contributing to environmental protection efforts.
Event Highlights
The program includes several social and sporting highlights such as the Opening Parade, the traditional Funny Race, the Sailors’ Dinner, and the final Prize Giving Ceremony.
Additional Services
The event will also offer mental coaching sessions, on-site technical support, food and refreshment areas, and repair services to ensure the best possible experience for all participants.
