The 29er Class is managed by the Executive Committee. This is made up of:

The 29er Class is governed by the World Council. This is made up of one representative from each National Class Association and the Executive Committee.
The World Council meets annually, usually during the World Championship.
The International 29er Class Association Constitution was updated following the World Council meeting held in Gdynia, Poland during the 2019 World Championship.
