EUROCUP 2011

The International 29er Class is proud to announce a supporting sponsor for the EuroCup and European Championships with La Ballena Alegre. The Spanish resort will be giving six 1-week packages to the top 3 finishing teams at the European Championship as well as the EuroCup overall top 3.

The 29er EuroCup season is just about to begin with the first event to be held in San Carlos de la Rapita, Spain February 18-20. Head south to sunny Spain for a week of clinics and racing.

A change has been made to the 2011 EuroCup schedule. See the Revised Notice of Series The change has been the date/location for the GBR event, now to be held September 10-11 in Lymington, GBR. An event in Marstrand, Sweden has been added for August 12-14. More information & links on the calendar.

29er WORLDS-New World Champions Crowned

BELEN TAVELLA & FRANCO GREGGI - Congratulations to the 29er 2011 World Champions!!!!!!

In an exciting finish, Belen Tavella & Franco Greggi tied for first with Pepe Bettini and Fernando Gwozdz. Tavella/Gwozdz won the tie breaker and are the 2011 29er World Champions.

SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The South American Champions have been decided. Juan Krevisky and Eduardo Lopez Segura claim the title and serve notice going into the Worlds which begin racing Jan. 3. Results for Day 1, Results for Day 2; Final Results

Sailing is in the same venue as the Worlds which begin January 1, 2011 in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

CLASS RULES 2011

**IMPORTANT** Read the 29er Class Rules that go into effect January 1, 2011 on the Technical section of this website. These are rules passed at the 2010 World Council meeting and recently approved by ISAF. THESE WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR THE 2011 WORLDS and all events thereafter.
