ISAF 29ERS READY TO GO!

46 29ers built by Ovington Boats are ready to be shipped to the 2008 ISAF Youth World Championship. The event will boast the largest number of participating countries in its history. Dave Hall – Sales and Marketing director of Ovington Boats says ‘ It has been a challenge but we are proud to be involved with such a prestigious and huge event. Kieler Woche-EuroCup #3

100+ entries from 16 nations already registered for the 2008 Kiel Week! Don't miss out on the fun!

Due of the powerfull schedule of all sailors all over the world, the headquarter of the the Kieler Woche 2008 (June 21 – 29th) decided to pospone the date of entry to the 2th of june. The online entry system for competitors is open for international and olympic classes via the Kiel Week website (www.kieler-woche.de)

EUROPEAN REGISTRATION OPEN

Registration is now open for the 2008 29er European Championship, to be held in Medemblik, Netherlands. Register on the website at: http://www.29ereuropeans.eu

ISAF Youth World Entries

The 2008 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship is on course to be one of the biggest ever with 59 nations and 250 sailors already signed up to compete in Århus, Denmark from 10-19 July.

This year’s Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship is set to be the most international edition of the event’s 38-year history. At 250, the current entry is already the second biggest ever for the Youth Worlds and is a reflection of the ever-expanding boundaries of the sailing world.

The current entry numbers for the events that will be contested at the 2008 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship are listed below together with the full list of competing nations.

Boy’s Two Person Dinghy – 29er, 25 nations (50 sailors)
Girl’s Two Person Dinghy – 29er, 18 nations (36 sailors)

Clinics Scheduled for Canary Islands

Tenerife, Spain is the site for a series of 29er clinics led by Pepe Bettini. Arrival date: June 26.
