Kevin Fisher and Glenn Gouron of France broke a tie with Justin Liu and Sherman Chang of Singapore to win the 2008 Kiel Week, stop 3 on the 29er EuroCup tour. Rounding out the medal podium were British sailors James Peter and Edward Fitzgerald, 3 points behind the leaders. 92 teams were on hand representing 16 nations disputing the famed Kiel Week with many teams warming up for the ISAF Youth Worlds to be held in Denmark in 3 weeks. GERMAN YOUTH NATIONALS - OPEN |

The German 29er Class invites all participants of the 2008 Medemblik Europeans born 1989 or later to the Int. German Youth Nationals. This championship will be sailed right after the Europeans on the nice lake of Zwischenahn next to Oldenburg. It is just about 250 kilometres from Medemblik in the north west of Germany and especially for the Scandinavians right on their way home.

46 29ers built by Ovington Boats are ready to be shipped to the 2008 ISAF Youth World Championship. The event will boast the largest number of participating countries in its history.
