Day 4

French sailors Kevin Fisher and Glenn Gouron sailed into the lead after 3 light air races. Danish duo Oscar Haumann and Taus Holtug moved to 2nd with Max Fraser and David Liebenger of the US moving into 3rd.

Day 3

Haumann and Holtug continue to lead the 2010 29er Worlds with teams fighting it out for 2nd at this point in the event.  Nahuel Martinez/Axel Vugdelija of Argentina have moved to 2nd after 4 races were held on Wednesday.  Fisher/Gouron had a bad first race today, which put them in 3rd.  16-18 knots on the course gave perfect conditions for the Race Committee to call for 4 races, but still 1 race down.  Tomorrow's start time has been moved up 1 hour to anticipate the lighter air day predicted.  Keep on top via the live reporting on www.29erworlds.org

Day 2

Oscar Haumann and Taus Holtug of Denmark extended their lead on the 2nd day of the Worlds with some shifting of places behind them.  Steady winds of 17+ with larger puffs gave the sailors thrill rides and full planes across tropical waters. Kevin Fischer/Glenn Gouron of France scored a 4-4 today and Lorenzo Franceschini/Riccardo Camin of Italy had a 6-2.  Nahuel Fernando Matinez/Axel Vugdelija (ARG) sailed a 3-6  with Jay Griffin/Will Chapman (AUS) rounding out the top 5. Video & photos to be posted tonight.

Day 1

Oscar Haumann and Taus Holtug of Denmark are the leaders after day 1 of the 2010 29er World Championships.  Leading by 1 point, Pepe Bettini and Fernando Gwozdz of Argentina are hot on their tails.  Full results on www.29erworlds.org.  Photos to be posted tonight!
